Discover the breath-taking scenery around Montségur Walk on ancient footpaths used by smugglers, pilgrims and the passeurs - the restistance fighters in WWII that helped those prosecuted flee into Spain - along mountain streams, through valleys, gorges and ancient forest, past waterfalls and lakes, up donkey paths to castle ruins and mountain tops.
Footpaths around Montségur Walk up St Barthélemy (2348m), past the Etang des Truites, Etang du Diable and Etang Supérieur, or to the cave de la Cauhna, or through the dramatic Gorge de la Frau (gorge of fear), or along the Chemin des Bonshommes (GR 107) or through the beautiful forested valley of the Lasset river with its waterfalls.
